Have you looked at: List of highways numbered 611 or Route 611 (New Jersey)? --evrik (talk) 20:35, 5 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Scenic Beauty

edit

I wonder if this is appropiate - but I think it's ashame that there is not one sentance that mentions the bucolic landscapes and scenic beauty a traveler on Rt 611 is rewarded with - especially in parts of Bucks and Northampton counties, the scenery is lovely: rolling hills, wooded acres, a few picturesque farms, old fieldstone houses going back to the eighteenth century ...

Just when Rt 611 leaves Philadelphia city limits it passes through the leafy desirable residential neighborhood of Elkins Park. Right on the east side of Rt 611 in Elkins Park is an architectural masterpiece by Frank Lloyd Wright: Temple Beth Shalom. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Buddmar (talkcontribs) 23:46, 22 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Precision

edit

Just my opinion, I will not make this change unless there is support. Wikipedia an encyclopedia for a general readership, not a technical document to be used in, for example, planning civil engineering projects. As such, it is silly to list all distances to the 1/1000th of a mile. For readability and comprehension, excess precision us unhelpful. Ike9898 (talk) 16:34, 5 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

The PennDOT straight line diagrams, which is the source for the length, has the length to thousandths of a mile so that is why the mileage is that precise. Dough4872 18:26, 5 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
