Clarification could be useful

edit

"Lyric sopranos have a range from approximately middle C (C4) to "high D" (D6)"

Should this be read as:

"Lyric sopranos typically need a range covering approximately middle C (C4) to "high D" (D6)", or "Lyric sopranos typically happen to have a range covering approximately middle C (C4) to "high D" (D6)"Yeatesi (talk) 19:55, 4 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Modern roles

edit

Is there any main source for classifying soprano roles in 20th and 21st century opera? It would be great to expand listed roles to include more contemporary ones.SpiritedMichelle (talk) 19:00, 24 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
