GM said that the Commodore will be DISCONTINUED, not facelifted or refreshed or updated. They never mentioned anything about a new generation. They only confirmed that the replacement will have the same platform as Opel Insignia and Buick Regal. They never said the replacement will use the Commodore title. Is there even a point of this?
