Correcting a sentence in the section on Structural problems
editThis is the communications team at Hammersmith Council - we own Hammersmith Bridge and would like to correct a line that says previous works to the bridge were delayed by a dispute between us and Transport for London over funding. This claim is based on an erroneous headline in a BBC news article. The work wasn't held up by a funding dispute. Please can you permit the change I am making to the text to make this correction?
- The BBC headline appears to summarise the contents of their news story accurately. It quotes LBHF leader Steven Cowan as follows: ""There's no way that this council is going to spend anything like that money, the majority of this issue is the responsibility of TfL and we will work with them to make sure the bridge is fit for public purpose.". --- Asteuartw (talk) 16:05, 15 May 2019 (UTC)
