There is a lot of good content on this page, but it can be hard to find due to lack of an outline. I think headings would be a good place to start. Adding a "morphology" section with a more detailed physical description, and adding a "Life cycle" section compiling the developmental changes and adding time frames would be especially helpful. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kaylaholthaus (talkcontribs) 04:06, 15 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Clarity

edit

the last half of this sentence "The Atala butterfly is now extremely common locally in southeast Florida, having rebounded to the extent of almost being considered a pest for eating ornamental cycads planted in suburban areas as native plants are being chosen for landscaping." Needs to be rewritten for clarity. I'd do it but I'm not sure what it's trying to communicate :) (pretty sure the only native in the order Cycadales is Z. integrifolia. I'm sure a lot of exotics planted in FL are in the genus Cycad and Dioon. And I bet this sentence could be folded into the second para under Ecology, as there is some redundancy there -rudyard (talk) 18:28, 29 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
