This game is also about destroying gods, I think, so it should be added. - Redmess (talk) 00:01, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
How about mentioning Nietzsche's "God is dead"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 156.17.4.250 (talk) 12:16, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
That's a good question. Does figurative killing of a figurative deity count as deicide?69.98.61.98 (talk) 02:14, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
Sentence in Fiction/Forgotten Realms section
editThere is a sentence here which makes no sense:
Over the course of the trilogy, several major gods, as well as numerous minor gods and demi-gods: To include Myrkul, Bane (several times) Baal, Mystra, and Torm. Some at the hands of other gods, others at the hands of mortals
This is on the topic of deicide, but it is unreadable. Could someone who has actual knowledge about this rewrite this? T3thys::ben (talk) 23:39, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

confusing vebage in the In Christianity section.
editI have change the verbage in the "In Christianity" section to accurate reflect the doctrine of Christianity and remove ambiguity. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.159.84.201 (talk) 21:37, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
Homicide
editIs there a reason the "Homicide" box appears in this article? Isn't this distinctly different and separate? Becky Sayles (talk) 05:12, 27 March 2010 (UTC)
Bleach Chapter Names
editIs there any evidence as to the chapters being titled Deicide due to Gin Ichimaru's weapon? Not only has he gone out of the chapters still entitled Deiced, but I would have thought the chapters were being called Deicide because of the attempt to kill Sosuke Aizen, who recently ascended to a godlike status/ Benduolo (talk) 03:23, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
It seems like it started about Gin's ability but stayed relevant because of aizen's current status, and in episode 404 you can still see Gin using a new technique so i'm pretty sure its relevant to Gin, maybe you should also add the Aizen part, but I think you shouldn't drop the Gin part. 84.108.200.209 (talk) 18:17, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
It's called "God-Slaying Spear." What more evidence is needed?
Shouldn't other religions be addressed as well? Didn't any human or semi-god kill a greek god, or a norse god? 189.20.89.170 (talk) 20:11, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
Christian Centrism
editThis article seems incredibly Christian-centric, considering the wealth of other examples named in the article itself. How there are two sections dealing with the New Testament but only one which encompasses every other cultural source? Snorri Asagrimm (talk) 00:27, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
