editSome mention should be made of his excellent public speaking skills and strong sense of humor. 157.246.2.6 17:27, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
I added his three books. I could not find good links on his site, so I used Amazon.com (full disclosure: I am an Amazon employee). I do not know Wikipedia's policy on Amazon links, so if this is not kosher, please let me know and I'll actually write quick stub articles for the three books. Jmglov 00:50, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
I'll see if I can dig up some references, but everyone who speaks on the conference circuit (myself included) and the conference-goers themselves know that Damian is a big deal. There are usually lines for his talks and panels, and they're almost always at capacity. He's also one of the chief architects of Perl 6. I'd definitely say this falls within notoriety guidelines.
