Is there a reason...
editIs there a reason for the apostrophe choice? It uses ’ instead of ', which is against the usual MoS. violet/riga (t) 07:23, 29 August 2005 (UTC)
- No reason - I just followed a redlink and didn't notice. Moved. -- ALoan (Talk) 08:56, 29 August 2005 (UTC)
Is there a reason for not including the famous "Where the nuts come from", meaning Brazil? Esedowns (talk) 20:42, 18 July 2023 (UTC)

editPresumably this was a pirated version? Or was it authorized by the English publisher? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 218.214.18.240 (talk) 05:21, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
Any online editions?
editCould not find the text on gutenberg.org or the internet archive. It should be in the public domain now, or not? 85.216.84.28 (talk) 20:18, 5 September 2014 (UTC)

Does Charley's Aunt (1915 film adaptation) exist?
editThe news article that is cited in that sentence, from The Times discussing the 1925 film adaptation, never mentions any 1915 film adaptation. The wiki article for the 1915 film itself links to a page on the New York Times website that lists Lynne Carver as a costar, but that's impossible considering that she was born in 1916. Does this movie even exist? Oliver Hardy, the alleged star of the film, is said to have done many short films for Lubin Studios in 1915, so it's possible this film may just be very obscure, but looking online I haven't been able to find any concrete evidence of its existence. - This refers to a 1915 version. Maybe there was another (older) Lynne Carver? Or maybe it's all some kind of mix-up/wrong dates, etc. http://www.silentsaregolden.com/featurefolder10/CAcommentary.html -- Ssilvers (talk) 02:12, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
