White supremacist death threat against Beto O'Rourke
edithttps://www.cbsnews.com/news/democratic-debates-2019-texas-state-representative-briscoe-cain-tweets-at-beto-orourke-my-ar-is-ready-for-you-2019-09-13/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.7.105.123 (talk) 14:04, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
- Except that you have to adopt a rather twisted and POV mindset in order to read it as a literal death threat. Threat of violence, sure. Threat of death (or even violence) aimed at O'Rourk? Not so much. I'm frankly not sure that detailing this incident on either page is not WP:UNDUE. Further, characterizing it as "white supremacist" in any setting is definitely not grounded in evidence. "twisted and POV" are the white supremacists trying to defend this death threat. Oh look some 8chan degenerate made a fake account. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.7.105.123 (talk) 15:12, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
Inaccessible reference
editThe claim that Cain has been diagnosed as having Asperger syndrome is supported by a link to kvue.com. Since KVUE's website gives an error message when viewed outside North America. I've tagged the reference to highlight that the page would benefit from a more globally-accessible site. ~dom Kaos~ (talk) 09:41, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
- I replaced the KVUE link with a citation to the Dallas Morning News. Marquardtika (talk) 19:12, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
