editJonathan Locke said in theserverside.com that "...All of Wicket was written by yours truly starting the 3rd week of April, 2004...". So Wicket should have begun in 2004?--Friend2008 (talk) 15:42, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
I'd like to add references on wicket components. As Wicket is classified as a component-based framework, people naturally like to know what components are available. In this regard, I found that although the basic ones are there (e.g. form, links, repeaters, date-picker, captcha, ...) still I don't find (or know where to find) some practical components like drop down menu bar, ..... (e.g. did http://www.mail-archive.com/wicket-user@lists.sourceforge.net/msg15101.html come to a conclusion eventually?) Maybe can there be some sort of incubators for them ? (e.g. https://sourceforge.net/projects/wicketcomponent/) Friend2008 (talk) 04:45, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

!helper at Apache Wicket; multiple IPs have tried to insert/ revert a bot for the inclusion of what looks to be a relevant, valid publication (checked link); is this a blacklisted site, spam (despite the topic), a formatting problem, or something else? Dru of Id (talk) 15:10, 30 March 2011 (UTC)
- Responded on IRC, but to summarize: The domain of the linked source is on XLinkBot's revert list because someone has earlier spammed URL addresses from that domain on Wikipedia. --KFP (contact | edits) 15:28, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

Can I run wicket on iPhone?
editWith Wicket we build web-apps, iPhone can run web-apps, but apps in Wicket are in Java, not iOS. So can you run wicket on iPhone (and WEB and Android)? רן כהן (talk) 04:25, 21 September 2016 (UTC)
