The info about prime minister

edit

The info about prime minister makes no sense here. Besides, there is only ONE prime minister. And yet some IP restored it in this edit. Why??? 85.193.219.160 (talk) 22:36, 21 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

There has been a lot of vandalism and unexplained/unhelpful edits in this article recently. --1990'sguy (talk) 22:55, 23 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Something is wrong with link to Polish article

edit

"Polski" link redirects to https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afera_gruntowa instead of https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrzej_Duda. Everything seems to be fine with https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q9151911#sitelinks-wikipedia — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.97.109.67 (talk) 18:37, 4 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Controversies section doesn't have a reliable sources.

edit

Let's look at the "In July 2017, about 50,000 people demonstrated in Warsaw against changes in the justice system." - Number 50,000 has no source at all. Wikipedia has to remain factual so please refrain from posting content that lacks reliable source.

Another case is an outright lie with false reference. "In June 2016, Duda rejected appointing 10 judges selected by the National Council of the Judiciary of Poland.[34"
The reference: "Ewa Siedlecka, "Prezydent sądzi sędziów", Gazeta Wyborcza, p. 1, 29 June 2016" - this article was written in 2007 and refers to the different president.
Link to the copy of the article (as the original is no longer hosted by Gazeta Wyborcza): https://www.pressreader.com/poland/gazeta-wyborcza/20070901/281590941179440

I will review remaining references as it seems some of them are no longer online or simply incorrect.

Stance on LGBT rights section: On July 4, 2020, Duda proposed changing the constitution to ban LGBT couples from adopting children. On July 6, 2020, he signed a document with a presidential draft of the amendment to the Polish Constitution.[1][2][3] --Centyja (talk) 14:06, 7 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Fusion Early Life with personal life

edit

I guess the text about Early Life and Personal Life need fusioned. (Anhaabaete (talk) 00:56, 18 July 2020 (UTC))Reply

Absolutely not. Early life refers to past events and personal life refers to current statuses and events since entering politics. Alex (talk) 18:12, 18 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
So will be good create a biography element head and this two inner element. Anhaabaete (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 04:19, 20 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Article needs to udpate due to lack of objectivism

edit

Most of people will argee that article about Duda is baiased and mostly contains negative perseption of him. There no mentions of Duda's actions like: creating a award "Dla dobra wspólnego" which praises communities and oraganizations which are helping a socaity; not mansioning his dipolmatic actions Visegard Group, Vaimar Triangle creating Three seas iniciative, regular meetings with President Trump, his presence at opoening ceremony of Olympics 2022, many diplomatic vists (for example Duda is the first President to visit Australia and New Zeland) and his latest invovment in helping Ukraine with Russian confict; also there is lack of information about his domestic poiltics like nominations, vetos, legislation iniciative celebration of 100 yeras of Polish Independance a — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:A31B:8342:6180:10DD:BC45:C7D6:6C18 (talk) 22:05, 25 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Modified WP Lead

edit

I briefly modified "Before becoming president, Andrzej Duda was a member of the Polish Lower House" to "Before becoming president, Andrzej Duda served as a member of the Polish Lower House." to reflect WP:Lead Fugabus (talk) 19:04, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Claim that Duda was implicated in sabotaging the Nord Stream pipelines ?

edit

Over at 2022 Nord Stream pipeline sabotage a German WP:RS is being sourced for a claim that Duda had an agreement with Volodymyr Zelenskyy to sabotage the Nord Stream pipeline. I am unsure if the standard is different for a head-of-state, so does this meet our threshold for implicating a (pair of) WP:BLP in a serious crime? Thanks.
