Article describes HDMI-CEC, not AV.link
editIt seems all the information in the electrical characteristics section is derived from the HDMI-CEC documentation. AV.link uses a pull-up to 5V. It has a nominal bit length of 4.4ms and a nominal start bit of 9ms. Maximum rise and fall times are longer. Messages are not necessarily multiples of 8 bits. Only the message format defined in EN 50157-2-2 resembles the HDMI-CEC message format, but has a two bit preamble and is fixed to one data byte after the address byte. EN 50157-2-1 defines a 20 bit message format with a 1 bit preamble. Longer preambles have been reserved for protocol extensions, but AFAIK all of these are proprietary. 77.20.120.199 (talk) 15:55, 4 January 2014 (UTC)
