Sources for this?

"He is considered one of Spain's greatest poets and was thought to be ahead of his time in terms of his theories on the nature of poetry."

This is a pretty bold claim and if it is indeed true in any respect I think someone should at least try and give some decent sources to back it up. Personally, I don't really consider the Jewish Encyclopedia to be an authoritative source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HBBorges (talkcontribs) 04:26, 1 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

The lead cannot even mention he was Jewish?

edit

I purposely inserted the Jewish ethnic qualifier after the "Andalusi." And now you're telling me this wikipedia article cannot even mention in the lede that the guy was "Jewish?" When his name is given in Hebrew right before that? "Jewish" is also an ethnic qualifier, and it has to be mentioned in the lede. It should be reinserted right were you removed it. I agree with Warshy, so I've restored it. Please don't remove it again. Andre🚐 22:31, 26 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
