About Mayo Chiki! edits.

edit

Hello, I'm Inès and I'm from France. The reasons why I heavily edits Mayo Chiki! article is because of erroneous words. For example : it's actually based on a light novel, a anonymous classifies the title as a manga, which appeared to be a misunderstanding knowing that he didn't know the novel coming first. It's the light novel comes first, not the manga adaptation. The anonymous also misunderstands the japanese name (exemple : Kanade's voice actor written as Einashi Kitamura instead of Eri Kitamura, director Keiichiro Kawaguchi described as Takashi Kawaguti if I'm remember correctly) Also, the protagonist is actually Kinjiro Sakamachi instead of Subaru Konoe. Almost every school harem romance series has a male protagonist who discovers a female student's secret. The anonymous describes Subaru's name miswritten as Sobaru. Normally, the syllable "ス" is described as "su" in roman letters while "so" is described as "ソ" in japanese letters. Everything I edited the article was proved wrong because of its miswritten informations. That's the reason I occured this article to edit misunderstand words more right and corrected about the article. The Wikipedia's article of Mayo Chiki! exists in other languages, including Japanese and Chinese. -MisaoFan 10:13, June 27, 2011 (UTC)

Manga v Novel

edit

In the right side the light novels are listed first before the manga. We list a 'manga adaptation'.

How can this be when the first light novel is 21 November 2009 and the first manga is 27 July 2009?

It seems like the manga began nearly 3 months before the novels.

Intro seems to conflict with template:

A spin-off manga series called Mayo Mayo! (まよマヨ!?) was serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's magazine, Nyantype between November 2010 and October 2011

So when did the manga begin, July 2009 or November 2010? Fact tagging the July 2009 date due to this conflict. Ranze (talk) 02:27, 15 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

List of Mayo Chiki! chapters has the citations you're looking for: The manga adaptation began its serialization on October 2010 in the Media Factory's seinen manga magazine, Comic Alive.[1]

My guess is that got split out from the main article at some point and the reference got lost during the move. I don't know where the July 2009 came from, but that's definitely not right. CurlyWi (talk) 02:54, 15 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Edit oh sorry I misread your comment I thought you were talking about the first manga series not the spinoff. CurlyWi (talk) 02:58, 15 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
Okay I think I mostly fixed it. Transferred the source over from the other article for the first manga adaption. The dates line up properly now. All that's missing is a source for the start date of Manga #2, Mayo Mayo. CurlyWi (talk) 03:04, 15 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
