What kind of high schooler needs a BABYSITTER?(99.114.169.92 (talk) 02:01, 7 June 2011 (UTC))
- His mom got another babysitter because he didn't do a good job of babysitting his little sister. The babysitter was only there to watch his sister. Alphius 03:42, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
Move
editI think this page should be moved to My Babysitter's a Vampire (film) and the page for the TV series should be moved to My Babysitter's a Vampire (TV series). It seems like that way would fit better with the normal naming process. Alphius 03:41, 29 June 2011 (UTC)

External Links
editThe external links in the Cast list are not identified. Users, expecting to open a Wikipedia page, would be directed to the referenced external website. This doesn't follow the normal Wikipedia conventions. OhioFred (talk) 17:33, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
- Those are valid interwiki links (see m:interwiki map) and serve mainly to uniquely identify actors who don't have a Wikipedia page. Per WP:REDNOT we can't redlink personal names as names are ambiguious and don't always identify an individual. The links are wiki links, not external links (use the form [[linky]] instead of {{template linky}} or [url]). The links go to a peer wiki equivalent and are not used as references for info. The links show up as purple links instead of blue or red links. This particular use may not be common but serves a valid use that improves the article. (For more discussion and background see Talk:Austin & Ally#IMDb linking) --Geraldo Perez (talk) 17:50, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
Cast list
editI added the actual credits from the film itself here - I do own a copy of the film and I transcribed the credits from that. IMDb disagrees on some of these which means IMDb contains errors. Some cast listed on IMDb do not appear at all in the credits and some actors with credits are listed as uncredited in IMDb. Actual credits always override what is in IMDb, the film itself is the WP:PRIMARY source of what is in the film.

Character names for starring cast are not in the credits and are shown in the article as used in movie dialog.
All the cast listed in the closing credits are listed as co-starring, that means they are minor, and in some cases, particularly where the character is not named, close to being extras. Only the main cast is notable and needs to be in the article. Minor cast are not notable and add nothing to the article except as non-notable trivia. IMDb is included as an external link for people who need the complete credits for this film. We don't need to or want to include all cast and crew details that IMDb has, only the more significant and notable ones. --Geraldo Perez (talk) 22:20, 8 March 2013 (UTC)
