John Frawley (18 August 1929 – 3 March 1999) was an Australian actor with a number of stage television and film credits to his name.[2][3]

Career
editFrawley started his professional career in 1948 in a film role[1]and worked in theatre from 1955, including a lengthy tour of Twelfth Night, later he acted in King Lear[4] and after a television career in the United Kingdom during the 1960s, which included episodes of The Prisoner and The Avengers, Frawley appeared mainly in Australian films during the 1970s.[1][5] He returned to television in the 1980s and 1990s, including appearances in Prisoner (a.k.a. Prisoner: Cell Block H) and Brides of Christ.[6]
