Herman Alfred Mattson (6 November 1900 – 6 July 1980) was a New Zealand rugby union player. A second five-eighth and three-quarter, Mattson represented Auckland at a provincial level, and was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, on their 1925 tour of New South Wales. He played six matches for the All Blacks on that tour, including all three of the games against New South Wales.[1]
