Description
English: Hieratic script on a limestone slab. The script was written as an exercise by a schoolboy in Ancient Egypt. He copied four letters to the vizier Khay. One letter from an overseer working on the royal tomb asks for various pigments and "old rags for the lamps". Taken at the Royal Ontario Museum.
