English: Animation of three discovery images of Jupiter's moon S/2010 J 2 (Jupiter LII), taken by Christian Veillet with the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope's MegaPrime CCD camera on 8 September 2010. Each image was taken approximately 12-15 minutes apart, showing the moon's motion relative to the faint background stars and galaxies. The raw image datasets used are 1235641p, 1235645p, and 1235650p. For comparison, the moon's location in the star field can be viewed in the Aladin Sky Atlas.
