Description
English: The main line of the final objective in the Australian attack on Ascension Farm and Le Verguier. This photograph, taken on the morning of the attack, shows a section of the Hindenburg outpost system in possession of 13th and 14th Battalions, who had been following in the wake of the advance in order to take over, with Battalions of the 4th Division, the front line from which the main Hindenburg line was stomed on 29 September 1918. Ascension Farm can be seen on the skyline.

Français : La ligne principale de l'objectif final dans l'attaque australienne sur la ferme et le Le Verguier d'ascension. Cette photographie, prise le matin de l'attaque, montre une section du système d'avant-poste de Hindenburg en possession de 13ème et les 14èmes bataillons, qui avaient été suivants à la suite de l'anticipé afin de succéder, avec des bataillons de la 4ème Division, la ligne de front dont la ligne de Hindenburg de force était stomed 29 septembre 1918. La ferme d'ascension peut être vue sur l'horizon.
