Personal life
editElena's father Ivan Pridankin is a former coach of Daniil Medvedev.[3]
Career
editIn November 2023, Pridankina won her biggest ITF title thus far at a W40 tournament in Funchal, Portugal, partnering with Anastasia Kovaleva.[4] The following week, she also won the W25 doubles tournament in Lousada, Portugal.[5]
Ranked No. 179, Pridankina made her WTA Tour debut at the 2024 Guangzhou Open after entering the main draw as a lucky loser but lost to Caroline Dolehide.[6][7]
She secured her first WTA Tour win at the 2024 Jiangxi Open, defeating Ella Seidel,[8][9] before losing in the second round to fifth seed Kamilla Rakhimova.[10]
