Draft talk:DJ Warrior

Latest comment: 16 years ago by C.Fred

I've done a bit of clean-up on the article; a few editors on the AfD for this article which can be found here closed because no one else (I'm speculating) paid attention to the reforms; we asserted notability. Since we here at WP do the consensus-over-credentials (which I like sometimes; don't get me wrong) thing, we got this thing deleted. I'd like to see it back on the mainspace. Count this as my Keep vote when needed. ←Signed:→Mr. E. Sánchez Get to know me! / Talk to me!←at≈:→ 06:35, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hey guys, I created this entry on DJ Warrior because of the entries I have seen on him in the past and they got deleted as the person did not reference anything or do anything that complies to Wikipedias policies. As an avid hip hop music fanatic, I have been a fan, and an aspiring artist that is influenced heavily by DJ Warrior, whom opened up the mixtape market on the west-coast of the United States for aspiring hip hop musicians to have an outlet to independently promote and sell their material and works. DJ Warrior's effect on the urban entertainment industry has been massive, and when I discovered many other mixtape DJ's such as DJ Envy, DJ Whoo Kid, and DJ Drama with extensive, proper articles on Wikipedia, and whom have had as equal as an impact, notable and loyal following as DJ Warrior, I decided that a man whom is considered a hip hop legend, and incremental in breaking the careers of multi-platinum hip hop artists by creating the mixtape outlet on the west-coast USA, should more than deserve a properly referenced, and thorough article. Everything that I have written is 100% official and pertains to Wikipedia's policies in every way for a notable figure in the entertainment world. I have properly referenced, and cited material from all over the internet, to create a properly referenced and official entry for DJ Warrior. I believe this meets all criteria, and I look forward to having DJ Warrior a permanent place on Wikipedia as his notable character is general human knowledge, and each inquiring mind should have free access to that knowledge and that is the vision that Wikipedia was built upon. Thank you,

  • The article does look improved. Most importantly, there are clear assertions (plural, between the MTV and Rolling Stone accolades and Vibe calling him representative of West Coast mixtape artists), and there are references to sources either unaffiliated (Vibe) or weakly affiliated (Sirius) with Warrior. I say it's ready to be sent to DRV. —C.Fred (talk) 16:37, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
