Career

edit

2024

edit

Gilmore started 2024 driving in the Bathurst 6 Hours with RaceAway Track Time, being the youngest entry at 16 years old[1]. Partnered by teammates Scott Tidyman and Ben Shaw in the E class, Gilmore finished second in class with a Mazda MX5[2].

On 21 April, shortly after his Bathurst triumph, Gilmore was confirmed by AGI Sport to participate in the 2024 F4 Australian Championship[3]. Although two podiums in the opening round at The Bend showed promise, he failed to reach the podium for the remainder of the season and ultimately finished fourth in the standings[4].

Following the conclusion of the F4 Australian season, Gilmore took part in the season finale of the 2024 Formula 4 United States Championship at Circuit of the Americas with Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport. He achieved a best finish of sixth in race three[5].
