David Woiwod is an Australian television presenter.

Woiwod is currently co-host of Weekend Sunrise.[1]

Career

Early in his career, Woiwod was the state political reporter for 10 News First Melbourne, serving in the role between February 2011 and February 2015.[2][3]

In December 2016, Woiwod joined the Seven Network where he was appointed the Melbourne reporter on its national breakfast television programme Sunrise.[4]

In July 2020, Woiwod left Sunrise after being appointed US correspondent on Seven News. He was later promoted to US bureau chief in May 2023, after Ashlee Mullany relocated to Europe.[5]

In December 2024, Woiwod was appointed co-host of Weekend Sunrise, following the departure of Matt Doran. He commenced in the role on 14 December 2024.[1] He is also a fill-in for Matt Shirvington on Sunrise.[6]
