Angelina Kendall (born September 2005)[5] is a Brazilian-New Zealand model.[6][7] British Vogue has said that for her supermodel status 'beckons'.[7]

Early life

Kendall was born in September 2005 in Sydney, Australia.[5] Her mother is Brazilian and her father is a New Zealander, however they are now separated.[5] She grew up living between Narrabeen, Rio de Janeiro and Wagga Wagga.[5] [7]

Career

She was scouted in August 2021 through social media by Simone Hellicar at The Scouted, a Sydney-based modelling agency.[7][5] She moved to Europe in February 2023.[5]

Before becoming a model she was planning to become a doctor.[7]

She made her catwalk debut in February 2023 for Khaite,[7] that fashion season (Autumn/Winter 2023) she walked 17 shows and the next season (Spring/Summer 2024) she walked 27 shows.[5] Shows she walked in include Chanel, Dior, Valentino, Schiaparelli and Hermès.[5] Since then she has featured in ad campaigns for Burberry,[8] Fendi,[9] H&M,[10] Loro Piana,[11] Louis Vuitton,[12] Tom Ford,[13] Versace,[14] Zara and more.[15]

Her first photoshoot outside of Australia was for Burberry's first swimwear ad campaign, shot in Antigua.[16][7]

Also in February she was featured on the cover of Order Magazine,[17] which was her first magazine cover. She was then on the covers of Holiday and Harper's Bazaar France before making her Vogue cover debut.[18][19]

Her first Vogue cover was the September 2023 issue of Vogue Italia,[20] and she has since been on the cover of Vogue Australia,[5] Vogue México,[21] Vogue Latinoamérica, British Vogue and on a digital cover for American Vogue.[22][23][24]

She was the closing bride for the final Chanel collection designed by Virginie Viard in June 2024.[7][25] She was also on the cover of French Harper's Bazaar for a second time (the June/July 2024 issue) alongside Devyn Garcia, Ella McCutcheon and Awar Odhiang.[26]

Personal life

Her native language is English however she is also fluent in Portuguese.[5] As of 2024 she lives in London with fellow model Renée Bellerive.[7]
