edit- January 1 – Fight for the Fallen special will beginning a AEW new media rights extension, where Dynamite and Collision would be simulcast on their respective TV channels and WBD's streaming platform Max.
- January 3 – First three hour broadcast of WWE SmackDown in history.
- January 5 – Wrestle Dynasty will be the first AEW's pay-per-view, which will be aired on Max.
- January 6 – WWE Raw will be premiered on Netflix after airing on the USA Network since 2005. It will be return to the three hour broadcast since October 2024.
