In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Tony28tarun, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

March 2020

[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Hotstar. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Clouds

[edit]

Hey, did you have a source that Clouds was opening in 2020? You said it had a definite release in this move and I can't find any sources that say it is scheduled to be released this year. BOVINEBOY2008 17:57, 15 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Bovineboy2008: this Deadline source clearly mentioned Pic will hit the streaming service this fall in all territories. This fall refers to 2020 only rite. Hope it answers your queries. Saichaitanya4496 (talk) 18:54, 15 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, that helps greatly. I guess I was scanning for "2020" or "year" and I missed this. Thanks! BOVINEBOY2008 00:48, 17 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

14 Reels

[edit]

Hi, wanted to discuss the 14 Reels page that you have renamed. The company wasn't renamed to 14 Reels Plus. It's a new Production Company started by two of the original founders of 14 Reels Entertainment. It doesn't have anything to do with the 14 Reels Entertainment other than having the same founders. It's misleading when you rename the company without mentioning any sources. The article now seems to suggest all the previous movies that were produced under 14 Reels Entertainment are made by 14 Reels Plus, which i think is incorrect. Let me know your thoughts, i would recommend renaming back to 14 Reels Entertainment and if needed create a new article in the future for 14 Reels Plus. -- krZna (talk) 13:03, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, can you please let me know your opinion on this when you get a chance? -- krZna (talk) 22:11, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @Krzna:! Sorry haven't noticed as not been on wiki lately! Firstly I thought, 14 Reels Plus as an alternative indie company which produces medium and low budgeted movies like Ak Entertainments of Anil Sunkara. However after Sarileru Neekevvaru, its understandable that's not the case and I waited for further development. However by announcing Sarkaru Vari Paata with Mahesh, it almost official that 14 Reels Ents is dead and they opted for 14 Reels Plus. Until the point i treated it as a subsidiary to 14 Reels Ents but its certainly not the case. And you know producers change their banners quite often for eg:Matinee Ents to SVC Creations to Sri Venkateswara Films by Dil Raju for his medium and low budgeted fare and finally using his main banner. Same with C kalyan also. In this case the main producing duo is the same Ram and Gopi and we have to take them to priority than that of the banner imo. And also its not misleading, as we often mentioned in wiki as per news sources than that of credits on the movie, for example Sarileru Neekevvaru, the credited producer is Ramabrahmam Sunkara, still we used Anil Sunkara in Wiki page. And as far as 14 Reels Ents produced films we have mentioned it as separate section As 14 Reels Ents which is not a problem and a standard followed in Wiki if you check ABC Studios / Searchlight Pictures etc. And as Sources concerned we both know in TFI, apart from gossip sites or sites like 123Telugu,no credibile news source covers these kinds of stories of rebranding etc and producers doesn't give a fuss about it. Also 14 Reels Plus which they are actively pursuing filmmaking is correct article name imo as the producers Ram and Gopid doesn't have wiki article on them as say Anil Sunkara or other producers. Lastly 14 Reels is the name of their banner, it doesn't if its Ents or Plus.but as current name is Plus, i think its better we follow that way only. Saichaitanya4496 (talk) 06:01, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for getting back. That's a lot of text. Here is my take, they are two different production companies. ABC Studios and Searchlight pictures are subsidiaries for The Walt Disney Studios, they really don't compare to this scenario. There is no indication or source suggesting the production company was rebranded. From what i gather, an entirely new production company with the name 14 Reels Plus LLP was registered in October 2017 by those two guys. Whether 14 Reels Entertainment has ceased producing movies is not known and even if they did, that doesn't mean we merge it with another production company. We shouldn't make decisions to rename established articles based on assumptions on how TFI works. It's not an article about the producers and unot all production companies need an article. I would want someone other than us to weigh in on this and see what needs to be done. If you know any experienced editors, can you loop them in or start a conversation on the article's talk page? Thanks, let me know your thoughts. - krZna (talk) 23:21, 11 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi [1] As per WP:CRYSTAL we don't add future events without any established reliable source even if they are true. We don't add sources like you added which say While a couple of the producers confirmed the deal privately, our efforts to get confirmation from Disney Plus HotStar did not bear fruit. I know that the information was true but still we have to follow Wikipedia policies first. Please be careful in future. Sid95Q (talk) 12:34, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Mookuthi Amman Poster.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Unsourced

[edit]

There is not race to add content in articles. I know you seen release date of films in social media then immediat add. But, you always forget to add realable source and you change the poster of film article then also you forgot the change source of poster. Please edit as per add realable source. March 2022

[edit]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Fox Star Studios, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Removing images without a proper explanation is unacceptable. Next time you accuse somebody like me for breaking the rules, DON'T!! I already had a bellyful of it.
