Please do not re-insert spelling mistakes, as you did at Jaana Na Dil Se Door - Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 12:43, 15 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Arjayay, sorry for this but I was actually trying to undo the plot by an anonymous user who is every time giving fan based plot and making cast of the serial according his or her choice and violating WP:NEUTRALY. Could you do anything about this.ABCDE22 (talk)

Arbitrary reordering of cast

[edit]

Hi there, please refrain from reordering cast as you did here without providing a clear justification consistent with existing guidelines. This tends to look like you are entertaining your personal preferences (ex: "I like this actor better, so I'll move him up." or "I think this actress has more seniority in the industry") rather than adhering to community guidelines like WP:FILMCAST or Template:Infobox film instructions, which is what we should be doing. We don't order cast based on what other productions have done, and nobody's going to die if a cast is not properly organised. If we have to wait until the film is released to get the onscreen credit order, so be it, as Wikipedia has no deadline. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:33, 31 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Restoration of content without any new references

[edit]

Re: these changes, you've restored an article about a presumably dead series without providing any new references to support your claim that the series is going to continue. These changes have been reverted. Please feel free to restore with a reference as sourcing is a fundamental requirement for Wikipedia articles. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 23:33, 3 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

UBC Okanagan campus

[edit]

Hi,

You really need to stop moving the UBC Okanagan campus page around... I think you've moved it 3 or 4 times in the last day and I believe it's currently at University of British Columbia (Okanagan Campus). Please leave it be and let's have a discussion on its Talk page about where it should reside. —Joeyconnick (talk) 19:34, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yup, I agree with you. Let's duscuss ABCDE22 (talk) 16:28, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading File:Logo of the University of Guelph-humber.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:46, 10 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited University of Guelph-Humber, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page MFA (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Urls which force a download

[edit]

Thank you for the additions and improvements you have made to University of Guelph-Humber. However, please don't add urls which force the automatic download of a file. Neither the url nor its description in the citation indicate that this will happen, but it does, and it's an unwelcome practice. Surely there must be some other source which can be used as a citation here. Thanks, Jessicapierce (talk) 17:47, 13 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at Talk:Sara Ali Khan, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Also I did not get your WP:PING please see the reason why. BTW, I am ok with your removal. thanks for your contributions. regards. DBigXray 14:29, 12 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring at Concordia University‎

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. ElKevbo (talk) 14:37, 23 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Michael Katchen is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Michael Katchen until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Bearcat (talk) 00:20, 15 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Affiliate"

[edit]

Shoving affiliate behind TC and Barnard in the college/school listings is redundant and confusing considering they both exclusively give out Columbia University diplomas and are inherently not non-affiliates if they are listed there in the first place... affiliate does not mean non-affiliate, look it up CUfiveo (talk) 22:44, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ABCDE22 is correct in designating Teachers College and Barnard College as affiliates. They are affiliates in the sense that their relationship with Columbia University is determined by an affiliation agreement. According to the agreement (which is a business decision and transaction for all parties) they pay Columbia every year so their students can use Columbia facilities. At least 7 official university documents (including page 17 of the Official Charters and Statues of Columbia University confirm this).
