HH von ...

[edit]

I saw in your article Alişar that there is someone called HH von Otten [1], don't your tried to mean HH von der Osten [2]? Anyway, I've just corrected it...

I think that articles on ANE archaeological sites are lacking here in wikipedia, as well as bio-academic articles, so I've been working on it, and I'm pleased to see that there is people doing the same. Good luck! --Amizzoni 05:27, 9 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK, you are right. Such a coincidence, both HH Otten and HH Osten worked in Alisar by the same period of time. --Amizzoni 19:57, 9 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sapinuwa

[edit]

I see you are also interested in Sapinuwa. You say you'd already done an article and it vanished? If I'd known then I wouldn't have wasted a morning doing the same thing :^/ Anyway if you have anything to add that isn't in the "Focus" article and Soysal's resume, I'd love to see it. Til-barsip is identified by the editors of the Helsinki Atlas as Apamea. Do you have a contrary source? Otherwise, I will restore the identification with the reference. Carlossuarez46 18:16, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Godin Tepe

[edit]

Hi! it's me again. I see that you transleted the German version of the article Godin Tepe. I don't belive it is accurate, compare for example with http://www.iranica.com/articles/v11f1/v11f1024.html. I've left some comments in the talk page. --Amizzoni 05:42, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I am a little puzzled by the remark that Ashur-nadin-ahhe II could be read Ashur-nadin-apli in letter EA 16. I think Ashur-nadin-apli lived long after Ashur-uballit or am I missing something? At any rate I'd appreciate a citation. nl:Sokpopje

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
