Upgrade Recent Changes in my preferences

Have you tried the Advanced options in your Recent changes user preferences settings? It requires a modern browser to work and is disabled by default.

Unlike the normal "recent changes" page, these options can summarize edits to the same page and let you dynamically expand and collapse the list items. For multiple edits to the same page, it also provides a single "changes" link which will show you a view of the differences (diffs) between these combined edits and the last non-recent revision.

After changing the Advanced options, the "Recent changes" list takes effect immediately and can be reversed by unchecking any option.

Take A Look

Laurisilva of Madeira

The Laurisilva of Madeira (Portuguese: Floresta Laurissilva da Madeira) is a natural place declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999.[1] It is considered a very valuable relic, due to its size and quality, of the laurisilva, a type of laurel forest that was very abundant in the past and is practically extinct today. It is believed to be 90% primordial forest. The paleobotanical record of the island of Madeira reveals that the laurel forest existed on this island at least 1.8 million years ago.[2]

Wiki Loves Monuments

Wiki Loves Monuments (WLM) is an annual international photographic competition held during the month of September, organised worldwide by Wikipedia community members with the help of local Wikimedia affiliates across the globe. Participants take pictures of local historical monuments and heritage sites in their region, and upload them to Wikimedia Commons. The aim of event is to highlight the heritage sites of the participating countries with the goal to encourage people to capture pictures of these monuments, and to put them under a free licence which can then be re-used not only in Wikipedia but everywhere by everyone.
