Recent changes to the template

[edit]

I changed this template so that Scottish templates start to look similar to one another. These include: Template:Scotland subdivisions, Template:Rugby union in Scotland , Template:Scotland counties, Template:Scottish Monarchs, Template:Scottish Parliament, Template:Scotland topics amongst others. --Bob 17:31, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Except the v d e links in the top left all seem to link to the Scottish Parliament! :) Owain (talk) 17:34, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Whoops

[edit]

The recent changes seem to be causing problems in the Scotland article: have a look at the layout immediately below where this template is inserted, ie. from the Geography section downwards. Ta. --Mais oui! 12:01, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Confused template

[edit]

The purpose of this navbox is currently quite unclear, containing a mixture of links to the actual council areas themselves (as suggested by the title), e.g. Midlothian), and piped Easter Egg links to the local authorities that run these areas, e.g. Aberdeen City Council, or even more general article like Politics of Dundee. We then end up with the template appearing on the Aberdeen and Dundee articles despite not linking to them. We need to either stick to one or other type of links, create separate navboxes for the two, or – I would suggest we could incorporate both types here, but clearly delineated in separate groups.
