I added Barnsdale to the locations list, because it does play a major role in the early legend. It is the setting for A Gest of Robyn Hode (http://www.lib.rochester.edu/camelot/teams/gestint.htm) , the most influential and longest of all ballads, as well as Robin Hood and Guy of Gisborne, Robin Hood and the Bishop of Hereford (Version A, in Child's collection), and others. It's also the location mentioned by the earliest chroniclers Andrew of Wynton and Walter Bower. http://www.lib.rochester.edu/camelot/teams/chronint.htm There are still minor references to Barnsdale in modern Robin Hood productions, such as being the home of Little John in the 1976 film Robin and Marian.

Alyas Robin Hood

[edit]

I have moved this from TV series to alternate settings as it seems to be a modern reworking inspired by the story. Dunarc (talk) 19:48, 10 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Rocket Robin Hood

[edit]

By curiosity, the cartoon Rocket Robin Hood should be mentionned in animated series or alternate settings since it's set in the year 3000? --Sd-100 (talk) 23:49, 6 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

St Mary's Abbey, York

[edit]

Should St Mary's Abbey, York be added to settings given it features in many versions of the Richard at the Lee story? Dunarc (talk) 18:06, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have added it for now. If anyone strongly disagrees with this, then please discuss. Dunarc (talk) 18:37, 4 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Qpid?

[edit]

What would you think about adding the Star Trek TNG episode Qpid to the template? It's basically: Picard and crew become Robin Hood to save 'Maid Marian' (Vash.)
