Documentation

[edit]

This template requires documentation. Its use, and what it is that binds these schools together, is not at all clear. The documentation should be located at the following link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:CDIO/doc.

That documentation should then be transcluded into this template. An example of how to do this can be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Citation_needed and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Citation_needed/doc. Thanks! — SpikeToronto 21:06, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Colouring

[edit]

We should use the default colouring provided by navbox, which is in step with the guidelines provided by wp:deviations. There is no strong reason to deviate from this colour scheme, and many reasons use the default. (1) The CDIO's own website does not use a solid green color from its logo for styling, instead using a blended transition, and neither should we. (2) The purpose of WP is not to advertise or excessively brand pages for a particular organisation or corporation. (3) Nearly all of the other templates in category:education navigational templates use the default, and I see no reason to deviate from it. (4) It appears we don't even have permission to use their logo, so why should we try to match it with excessive colouring. Frietjes (talk) 15:31, 16 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
