Rationale for deletion of disambiguation page

[edit]

Per the WP:Disambig page, "If only a primary topic and one other topic require disambiguation, then disambiguation links are sufficient, and a disambiguation page is unnecessary." Since the radio station call letters are the primary identification and the acronym for an organisation founded to foster cooperation in the nuclear industries is a secondary identification, a hat note is sufficient and requires no more steps than would a disambiguation page for people seeking the organisation. - Dravecky (talk) 21:25, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article is completely wrong. It is one of the worst I have ever seen. There is no mention of John McPhearson the blind man who was either a co-owner at one time or the sole owner before South Bevans. I know he was involved at one time with it. I worked there all during high school myself and was working there when South sold the radio station. It was not sold to Warren Pursiful. He worked there at the time but instead opted to buy WFXY in Middlesboro, not WANO. Wano was sold to a husband and wife from the Williamsburg area who owned it for a couple of years before either re-selling it or defaulting on it back to South Bevans who may have then sold it to Warren and his mother Beualah Pursiful. I am not sure.

There are numerous mistakes in this article and it should be researched better before posting this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.11.233.255 (talk) 00:38, 9 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
