Since the 180SX differs from the Silvia mainly in cosmetics, this article should be mainly about the styling generations (zenki, chuki, kouki) and trim levels (Type-I, II, III; Type-R, S, G, X) and the differences therein. Technical information can be obtained from the Nissan Silvia#S13, Nissan CA engine, and Nissan SR engine articles. AKADriver 22:46, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to prep some pictures for that purpose. As of now I'm pretty much just verifying the copyright status to make sure its applicable under fair use.--Oni Ookami AlfadorTalk|@ 21:10, 2 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There are a few problems with the article. Someone else can do the write up to fix them though.

One problem is that it mentions that the differential was upgraded when the engine was up graded to the SR20DET in 1991; this is incorrect as the CA18det versions were fitted with the same R200 differential that was fitted after the engine upgrade, only the final drive ratios were changed. The only version of the 180sx that may have come with the smaller R180 would be the versions fitted with the SR20DE engine. This also leads to the other problem in that in the beginning of the article it reads as if the SR20DE variant was available from 1991, which is incorrect as it was only available in the Type S version after 1996, which is mentioned later in the article.

Also all the final drive ratios are incorrect in the table.
