Stadion im. Kazimierza Górskiego (Płock)Stadion im. Kazimierza Górskiego – Article was at Stadion im. Kazimierza Górskiego since 2006. It was recently moved to this disambiguated title because Stadion Narodowy is also known as "Stadion Narodowy im. Kazimierza Górskiego". I restored the undisambiguated version as per our policy, Wikipedia:Article titles (Precision and disambiguation), but it was returned to this title. I believe that the undisambiguated title is sufficient for naming purposes and follows established policy. • Move to Kazimierz Górski Stadium per WP:UE. 162 etc. (talk) 16:50, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • I object on the grounds that we have two Kazimierz Górski Stadiums in Poland - 1) Kazimierz Górski Stadium in Płock, 2) Kazimierz Górski National Stadium in Warsaw. Stadium No. 2 is much more popular (by its prestige, it is played there by the national team, being the largest stadium in Poland), so it is incomprehensible, in my opinion, to take away the parenthesis, suggesting that this Kazimierz Górski Stadium is the main stadium under this patron. Alternatively – in the case of recognizing that the bracket is not deserved, I suggest changing the article to Stadion Wisły Płock (Wisła Płock Stadium), but absolutely not to remove the connection of the stadium with Płock. Removing "(Płock)" does not in any way indicate that this is the main Polish stadium. In fact leaving "(Płock)" on does not indicate to the reader that Stadion Narodowy is the main Polish stadium. That's not how disambiguation in titles work. It is just used when you have two or more articles with identical names. In this case the names of the articles are quite different. One is Stadion im. Kazimierza Górskiego and the other is Stadion Narodowy. CambridgeBayWeather (solidly non-human), Uqaqtuq (talk), Huliva 19:23, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
