Permission

[edit]

May I have permission to add a "II" to Harry's Green Goblin title? It is true, because Harry is the second Green Goblin. 70.58.211.220

Uh....no. He is the second Green Goblin, but roman numerals are not part of his title. He's referred to as "Green Goblin" in-story, not "Green Goblin II". It's the same with many characters who use shared aliases. Numerals, if used at all, should be restricted to single article disambiguation attempts. In Harry own article, he shouldn't be referred to as "II", especially if you consider the demoralizing effect of it in his own article. ACS (Wikipedian); Talk to the Ace. See what I've edited. 02:52, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have found out a lot of huge spoilers from Spiderman 3 by the book which I got because I am a special member to a book store, may I post this information? Its all true!

Can you please wait until the movie comes out?--CyberGhostface 03:27, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Um. . . I guess, I mean it's all really cool but hey I guess I'll just wait. I posted the stuff about Sandman on his page and on Harry Osborn/New Goblin page about him, though Harry's has been taken down.

Why would you want to spoil it for those who haven't seen the film?--CyberGhostface 23:01, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Becuase if we know the spiderman fans, they will be reading the book anyway. I have and i think its good to alteast some information to the summarys to buil up the excitement. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 76.98.191.198 (talk) 23:02, 11 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Spoiler?

[edit]

Should there be a spoiler warning?Everyoneandeveryone 16:04, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spider-Man 3 section

[edit]

Should this be cut down some? It has a lot of detail about the movie that doesn't specifically apply to Harry.(such as the ending between Peter and MJ). I think this should include only the stuff on Harry or directly related to him. There is a Spider-Man 3, Spider-Man, and Mary Jane page for the rest.

User:Blood Wraith 22:31, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Overall this is pretty good but agree that the Spiderman 3 section is too long and is almost a film review. 172.200.83.30 22:25, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

However...

[edit]

Does anyone here know how to write a sentence without using this word? Incredibly, there are no less than SEVENTEEN instances of "however" in this article. Cripes, people, take a writing course or something, would you? 74.70.185.44 23:32, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free to fix that. --GentlemanGhost 11:27, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Original Spidey game.

[edit]

As far as I've seen, no comfirmations have been made as to who's in the suit after completing Hero mode. Where is the source?

211.30.223.128 12:29, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The source is the game. When the first level starts, Harry talks to himself about how crazy becoming the new Green Goblin. Dmr2hn1 18:52 16.05.2007

This is also unconfirmable without the game, but the option when choosing to play as him reads in brackets that it's Harry. At least, in the Xbox version it does... 211.30.212.36 09:42, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well he actually says something along the lines of "My fathers suit feels great" and since Norman appears to only have one son, it has to be Harry (The menu just adds further confirmation) Blackadder18 12:29, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Harryosborndeath.jpg

[edit]

Image:Harryosborndeath.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:47, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

1981 Spider-Man Cartoon

[edit]

While he was only mentioned in the episode, I felt it warranted inclusion as his invention was essential to the episode's plot. 71.115.195.228 09:20, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Misplaced text

[edit]

Removed this chunk: (he is impaled in the lower abdomen, where he dies from internal bleeding, whereas in the comics he temporarily dies from a chest impalement to the heart; it is unlikely Norman still possesses the healing factor because in the comics, he didn't test the serum before taking it and here, he took the serum prior to learning of its effects and learned nothing of a healing factor), As it's speculative, and in any case would go in the Green Goblin page rather than here. Harry's ALIVE!!

[edit]

I am happy to see Harry Osborn alive and well at OMD's conclusion. Now Peter once more has his best buddy back. But I am sad about the MJ non-marriage reality. I hope everything works out in this ew timeline. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.101.86.221 (talk) 16:28, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Brand New Day details

[edit]

In reply to this edit by User:Dr. R.K.Z:

  • "Spider-Man: The New Status Quo!" contains the line: "[Harry's] relationship with his father, Norman, is not a topic for conversation. At least, not for polite conversation.". Does that imply that Harry knows Norman is alive?
  • Before Spider-Man: One More Day, was it already public knowledge that Norman was alive? If so, is there any reason to suspect that that's changed, since Brand New Day is just the same continuity with people's memories altered rather than a completely new one?

And in reply to this edit by User:24.73.232.50:

  • "Harry and the Hollisters" in Amazing Spider-Man #546 contains the line "I hope your company produces fewer maniacal super-villains than your father's did.". Does that imply that it's public knowledge that Norman was the Goblin, or just that the Goblin used Osborn Industries equipment or was one of their test subjects?
  • Same question about pre-One More Day continuity.

TASM 2 Hobgoblin?

[edit]

So this says he's the Hobgoblin, the ASM2 pages says Green Goblin, the Green Goblin page says something that appears like the Green Goblin is in TASm 2. The general thought is Green Goblin, should we remove it. 24.188.197.22 (talk) 01:08, 24 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

All of those that says he is anything should be removed if they don't have a source to back it up. Thanks for noticing that. I removed it. Merry Christmas! Jhenderson 777 14:05, 24 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know how to fix this

[edit]

This epic poem length sentence obviously needs clarification but I have no idea what it's even trying to say. Can anyone with insight please fix this?
"His sons Normie and Stanley likes Regent, until the time when all super humans are disappearing without a traces caused by a super human known as The Regent, while Harry is meeting with Mary Jane and Betty Brant, Harry stumbles upon seeing a same logo as The Regent on Augustus Roman's Empire Unlimited company, and soon realize, along with Mary Jane that when he saw a logo beneath Augustus' ripped shirt during the time of Zodiac's attacks on the opening of Horizon University that Augustus is in fact Regent, thus sending Betty to meet Augustus to prove if he's Regent or not." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.176.36.59 (talk) 21:13, 27 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
