Grammar/Capitilization Problems/Solutions

[edit]

Capitalizing the title Hello, I was wondering if both words in title should be capitalized? — Preceding unsigned comment added by WikiRay360 (talkcontribs) 01:54, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The term "gram panchayat" is usually shown in lower case in the article and sources. So, no need for further capitalization. Dhtwiki (talk) 21:39, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Well, in most of the articles and sources (as of 2024) are shown saying "Gram Panchayat", rather than the "P" being lowercase. So, there might be some need for the capitalisation. TheTube222 (talk) 07:44, 14 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Should it be renamed to "Village Panchayat"?

[edit]

the word "grām" translates to "Village", and it makes sense to me to rename it to that. The word grām is translated when translating the term into other Indian languages. SourceIsOpen (talk) 12:45, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
