Original source of info: Scientific American, July 2002, "Sweet medicines" hello you've righten that you can analyse glycoproteine with X-ray. maybe in very specifique condition but not normaly. glycane a there to cause a kind of sheilding to the proteine and are often very unstructered there for it wouldn't be possbible to analyse with X ray difraction. Dynamic genomes
