Reading the synopsis, this seems rather similar to the CBC comedy, Mr. D. Mr. D is about a teacher at a posh Toronto school who thinks he's the end-all, but is actually semi-functional and the students treat him with utter distain. Given the way shows are swapped to and fro the possibility exists, but I haven't see Bad Education so I'm wondering if anyone who's seen Mr. D has? I am not sure this can be described as a Teen series and that it should be in Category:2010s British teen television series and Category:2010s teen sitcoms. Although some of the characters were teenagers, the main focus was on characters who were not and I do not think its intended audience was solely teenagers. I have never seen it described as teen series and nowhere in the article is it described as such. If someone has a valid reference to it being referred to as a teen series then please include it, but otherwise I am not sure the article should be in these categories. Hi! I just edited this article to perform some general clean-up. I haven't watched Bad Education, but the character list in this article seems excessively detailed to me. It appears to take up about 70% of the entire read; as far as its contents goes, the tense is fairly inconsistent and much of it could be shortened significantly. Could anyone with more relevant knowledge share their thoughts on this? --SeparateTitan92 (talk) 09:52, 23 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- Hi @SeparateTitan92; sorry to see that there hasn't been any change since your comment almost a year ago. You are absolutely right, and I started some clean-up now, but it will take a while to remove the trivia/fanfluff. Utimately I think it's fairly common for multiseries sitcoms like these to have a separate Characters article, which can add back in some of the trivia/fanfluff. But it's certainly excessive in any main article. _MB190417_ (talk) 22:20, 7 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I wonder if the statement in the opening section "It stars Jack Whitehall as young teacher Alfie Wickers" needs to be revised as this is not true of the current series. I wonder if it would be better to say "It originally stared..."? Dunarc (talk) 23:39, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
