Saiyar Mori Re (Gujarati: સૈયર મોરી રે) is a 2022 Gujarati drama film directed by Vishal Vada Vala and written by Kapil Sahetya. It stars Mayur Chauhan, Yukti Randeria, Mehool Desai, Mayur Soneji, and Mehul Bhil.[1] The film was produced by Jay Kariya and Meet Kariya.[2] Music was composed by Kedar with lyrics by Bhargav Purohit.[3]

Plot

Hari lives at a gaushala with his father and transgender aunt. One day, while substituting for an odd job, he sees Leela for the first time and instantly falls for her. They gradually fall in love.

Release

The film was theatrically released on 8 July 2022.[5] It was presented as "celebrat[ing] the rural flavours of India"[6] and the response of the audience was described as positive.[7][8]

Saiyar Mori Re was also part of the feature films selected for the fourth edition of the International Gujarati Film Festival held In Chicago in 2023.[9]
