Summary

Description A U.S. Navy McDonnell Douglas F/A-18C-25-MC Hornet (BuNo 163498) of Strike Fighter Squadron 81 (VFA-81) "Sunliners" carrying an AGM-62 Walleye television-guided bomb is launched from the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga (CV-60) during Operation Desert Storm. VFA-81 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 17 (CVW-17) aboard the Saratoga for a deployment to the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea from 7 August 1990 to 28 March 1991.
