Description

L'accélérateur d'ions AGLAE au C2RMF. Le C2RMF est le Centre de Recherche et de Restauration des Musées de France.

Sa filière consacrée au développement des méthodes d'analyse des biens culturels s'est constituée autour de l'accélérateur de particules AGLAE (acronyme pour Accélérateur Grand Louvre d'Analyse Elémentaire). Elle fait également partie d'une unité mixte de recherche avec le CNRS. Au fil des années, AGLAE est devenu le prototype des instruments d'analyse non destructive, particulièrement bien adapté à l'étude des oeuvres d'art.
