Book Chapter

[edit | edit source]

Religiosity and coping - What is the relationship between religiosity and coping?

Social Contributions

[edit | edit source]
  1. Psilocybin and Psychotherapy - Suggested research into psilocybin assisted therapy for addiction and smoking cessation
  2. Psilocybin and Psychotherapy - Suggested a more nuanced description of the relationship between SSRIs/placebos and depression/anxiety - linked a meta-analysis discussing risks/benefits of SSRIs.
  3. Childhood trauma and subsequent drug use - Fixed the formatting for a table by changing places where there were capital letters and including a title for the table rather than paragraph/title thing that was present.
  4. Climate change helplessness - Suggested an external link so that people can understand the science behind how climate change works.
  5. Benzodiazepines and emotion - Gave feedback on how someone can fix up their figures and explained how they can italicise parts of their reference list for correct formatting.
  6. Topophilia - Recommended two Journal articles surrounding indigenous connection to land and country and the symbiotic relationship between wellbeing of indigenous people and the treatment of their traditional land (pollution and other environmental destruction vs land care).
  7. Unemployment and mental health - Gave feedback on fixing figures and explained how to italicise reference list.
  8. Humility - Feedback on fixing figures, capitalisation of article names, and how to italicise the reference list.
  9. Emotion in animals - Recommended two journal articles - one on elephant sense of smell and how this could be expanded to describe the difficulties in animal research on emotion and cognition, as animals often have very different senses of perception to humans. Second article was on elephants perception of death. Also recommended for the chapter to address common urban legends about animals like crows having funerals, are these true?
