Seasoned Perspective was a design-build team project which included the design and construction of a pavilion to host a skewered appetizer and an accompanying drink. Drawing inspiration from a skewered appetizer, the pavilion’s structure is held together with dowel pieces that skewer the main structure that reaches towards the trees and river. Shelving for wine bottles and hot plates, as well as wineglass rack chandeliers, also bore a skewered effect in their design. To fill in the walls of the pavilion, bright autumn-coloured panels of material were used, along with hanging candles or skewers ready to be grilled.
