Fish market
[edit]"The fish market in Bergen" - I removed this from list of major sights, does not make sense on that list. --Erik den yngre (talk) 19:08, 19 July 2013 (UTC)
Cities
[edit]I am surprised seeing Balestrand listed as a city. The whole muncipality of Balestrand has according to Wikipedia a population of 1337. The village Balestrand only 828, which would be a really small "city". Why not move it to "Other destinations"?
Other "cities" listed here are Voss, Førde and Florø which are bigger then Balestrand, but still not enough to be called cities.
I understand this is not Wikipedia, but I think it shouldn't present such wildly misleading information.
I wasn't able to create a user here with my regular username for wikis (Ahy1), so that is the reason I post without logging in:-). 81.167.29.207 14:50, 13 April 2014 (UTC)
- There are really only two cities in west Norway: Bergen and Stavanger. All other settlements are merely towns or villages, in Sogn og Fjordane county there are no real cities. Balestrand is not more than a village, not even a big one. --Erik den yngre (talk) 13:56, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
@SHB2000: Please see above. Very strange to call list these villages as cities. Some may not even regard Stavanger a city. --Erik den yngre (talk) 14:53, 18 May 2022 (UTC)
- @Erik den yngre Apologies. Wasn't aware of this discussion when I made that edit, but I made an adjustment based on this discussion. I can't find exactly where, but as far as I'm aware, all settlements are covered under one section, and now this resembles somewhat like Falkland Islands#Settlements (though the Falklands don't have any cities) SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta.wikimedia) 08:15, 19 May 2022 (UTC)
