Mongu
Mongu is in Zambezi Basin and is the capital of the Mongu District.

[edit]Mongu was the capital of the former Kingdom of Barotseland and is home to the Lozi (or Barotse) people. The Baroteseland ruler, the "Litunga," had a dry season Summer Palace 12 km northwest at Lealui and a flood season palace on higher ground at Limulunga, 15 km north. The latter palace is next to Nayuma Museum, which is open to tourists.
