- Thanks for taking the time to review the draft. As the other sources I used included various articles, news sites, and a printed publication, - if I removed the two references to Bleep and Bandcamp would that improve the article enough (or you just don't believe the subject is notable enough anyway)? Thanks ~~~~ Wikociewie (talk) 12:53, 9 September 2023 (UTC)
- Hello, Thanks for your note. Yes, you should remove the music download or sales sites, they are not appropriate for an encyclopedia entry. He definitely doesn't meet WP:NARTIST as a visual artist; as to meeting WP:NMUSICIAN it doesn't seem like it to me, however I will leave that to another reviewer who is more familiar with some of the other sites. - Okay, I've removed the segments related to the areas you've flagged up. I'll try to resubmit it and see if another reviewer believes it to be notable as you say. - Hello, thank you for reviewing the article and taking the time to give feedback. I have now removed the citations to sources that are self-published blogs. Although, one of the citations I have used as a replacement is another personal blog albeit by the author who coined the term being referenced in her book - so I think this can be considered more reliable? (If not I’ll find another source!)
- With regards to undue weight given “to a few routine incidents in an article about the hobby as a whole” in the ‘Nuisance behaviour and crime’ section; I would say that although they may seem trivial they were specific instances reported in a news article titled ‘Thoughtless rail fans spoiling it for hobbyists’ where they were given as examples of densha otaku “breaking the law”. However, if you think removing them would improve the article then I’m happy to do so. Wikociewie (talk) 12:31, 19 January 2024 (UTC)

Anarchism
[edit]Hi Wikociewie,
I saw your work on articles related to anarchism and wanted to say hello, as I work in the topic area too. If you haven't already, you might want to watch our noticeboard for Wikipedia's coverage of anarchism, which is a great place to ask questions, collaborate, discuss style/structure precedent, and stay informed about content related to anarchism. Take a look for yourself! We also have a stub (short article) expansion drive, if you'd like to participate.
Feel free to say hi on my talk page and let me know if these links were helpful (or at least interesting). Hope to see you around. czar 13:16, 19 April 2024 (UTC)
- You might also be interested in this list of potential articles on Polish anarchists to be translated. I haven't checked the sourcing on each to confirm whether each merits their own article but as long as there's abundant reliable, secondary sourcing for each and nothing unsourced, each should be a good candidate. Feel free to bring any of those biographies to the aforementioned noticeboard for discussion too. czar 12:27, 21 April 2024 (UTC)

Brody Pomorskie railway station moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Brody Pomorskie railway station. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. C F A 💬 23:18, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @Clearfrienda:. I've improved the page a bit. Thought I'd get your opinion if you think it's is ready to be moved back? Wikociewie (talk) 11:28, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know. Per WP:NTRAINSTATION:
- Train stations have no inherent notability and are not presumed notable for simply being train stations, but may be notable if they satisfy the WP:GNG criteria, the criteria of another subject-specific notability guideline, or other criteria within this notability guideline.
- So your best bet is probably getting it to meet WP:GNG. Based on the sources in the article: 2 and 3 don't really go in-depth and offer more "niche" coverage. I'm assuming source 4 is independent but I don't know for sure - it goes a bit more in depth. 5 and 7 are database entries which don't count towards notability. 8 is probably your best source. I didn't look online for any other sources since I don't speak Polish. It's definitely way better but to be honest I doubt it'd survive AfD at its current state. I wouldn't object to moving it back - you'll just have to see what another NPP reviewer thinks. Let me know if you have any more questions. C F A 💬 01:24, 5 June 2024 (UTC)

Helpful tip
[edit]While c/e bikiniarze, I noticed you don't use citation templates. They are useful for metadata, links, etc. You can auto-generate them by pasting ISBN, DOI or links to articles (academic in particular) into the automatic cite tool in Visual Editor cite generator. See my latest edit there. Oh, and I see you did not create a redirect from bikiniarze to bikini boys - I'll do it now. People can use Polish terms on en wiki, and they should be redirected so the search works. Cheers, Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 10:51, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for taking the time to send me a message!
- I think I took so long to write the article that I’d only discovered citation templates half-way through (eg I used the Template:Cite podcast somewhere) but I’ll try to use them more diligently. I didn’t know that they can be done automatically either so I’ll try that out too!
- Thank you for creating the redirect - that didn’t occur to me at all!
