Proposed deletion of Wishaw Sports centre

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Wishaw Sports centre, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Speedy deletion of Motherwell Shopping Centre

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Motherwell Shopping Centre, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Templarion (talk) 20:44, 10 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe this important core policy. Thank you. thank you for your contributions to the wikipedia project, but please refrain from using weasel words in your articles. cheers WookieInHeat (talk) 19:15, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

i've made a number of changes to this article including removing some POV content, weasel words and original research. i've also gone through and done a thorough wikification and added "citation needed" tags where i thought the article could do with some further sourcing. feel free to contact me on my talk page if you disagree with any of my changes. Please note that templates cannot be tagged for proposed deletion, as you did with Template:Doncaster Rovers Football Club. However, since you were the original author and only contributor of substantive content, and your request appears to have been in good faith, I have placed a {{db-author}} tag on the page. It should be deleted by an administrator shortly. —KuyaBriBriTalk 15:36, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I just placed an G6 tag on Jamie Pollock (disambiguation), this is because it is only disambiguating two items and one of these is the primary topic. For more information see WP:MOSDAB. Please consider instead using a hat note to the other item at Jamie Pollock. Thanks, France3470 (talk) 18:29, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Robert Douglas (footballer), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Daily Record (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

You have listed the move request on the wrong page hence error message. Other than the logo change have you got a reliable source because i haven't found anything, if there is then its a non controversial move if not then it is controversial and needs the move request.Blethering Scot 13:30, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Hamilton Lawn Tennis Club requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Wylve (talk) 20:28, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Another time, if you need to move a page, what you do is follow the instructions at WP:MOVE#How to move a page, rather than copy-pasting. It's done like that to retain details of everyone's contributions in the article's edit history. There's no harm done, but I'll check whether an admin needs to merge the old edit history into the new article. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 10:40, 19 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. Best we neither of us edit either version until the history merge has been done. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 10:48, 19 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
which it now has. Sorry for the nuisance: if I'd had any sense when he joined Motherwell, I'd have looked for the regular Motherwell editors and said to feel free to move my sandbox page to mainspace as soon as Mr Kerr made his debut. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 14:32, 19 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Squad statistics

[edit]

Hey Ross, just noticed the problem with Squad statistics table in the 2012–13 Motherwell F.C. season article as it only supports five columns (including the total) me & Blethering Scot came across this problem last season. Which lead BS to contacting the template creator to ask if he would code it for an extra column but was unwilling to do so. Therefore may I make the suggestion you combine the Champions League & Europa League columns into one column called Europe. Although the disciplinary record table supports more then 5 columns, if you decide to change the Squad statistics table into a Europe column might be best to do the same with the disciplinary record. Let me know yours thoughts, Regards. ★☆ DUCKISJAMMMY☆★ 18:37, 21 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Glad to see you changed it, not ideal but probably the best solution. ★☆ DUCKISJAMMMY☆★ 15:55, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
