Barbie

[edit]

Hi there, re: these edits, though I think you meant well, there were a few issues. 1) Per WP:TVLEAD, even if a TV series (or in this case, web) has ended/been canceled, we still describe it as "is", not "was". 2) Your edit introduced a grammatical error, "Two TV specials was aired". 3) It's unclear why you reordered the video game platforms. That seems totally arbitrary, and arbitrary changes should be avoided in favor of whatever the status quo is. Thank you and regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:18, 13 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, re: this, I don't have a problem with alphabetical. The previous version was a bit random. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 04:55, 15 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Code Vein

[edit]

Before I revert it, I'd like you to show me the source which claims Code Vein is an open world game, because none of the sources provided on that article states such.Dohvahkiin (talk) 13:04, 21 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Dohvahkiin: You've been at the open world thing for a long time now. Sometimes on the same articles multiple times. One thing that would really help you is if you didn't use user talk pages for this. Open a discussion at the article in question, and ping the editor you need to interact with. If you do it that way, you can point to the talk page in the future if the topic comes up again with different editors. When you use user talk pages, most people won't see the discussion. -- ferret (talk) 13:14, 21 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, alright ferret, thank you for the advice.Dohvahkiin (talk) 13:17, 21 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Pure conSouls: I’d like to point out that your recent edit has no sources to back it up. The Polygon article that’s provided does not call this game open world. Neither do any of the sources provided.24.47.204.97 (talk) 16:29, 24 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Pure conSouls: I added additional info and sourced it. We’re similar in that we both don’t like vandalism. But that’s why I fact check and make sure everything has had a source provided for the info. I don’t revert unless the information provided doesn’t match up with the sources provided. In this particular case, there weren’t any sources to back up the info, but I dug a little and found a recent article to back up the info. For future reference though, sources should be provided for every new bit of info added. I think you’re doing a great job as an editor. Just remember that I’m here to help and make sure everything is accurate, as you’re doing. I’m sure we’ll speak again eventually. Till then, well stay Gold :) 24.47.204.97 (talk) 16:59, 24 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ark: Survival Evolved

[edit]

Hey, I know how dedicated you are when it comes to vandalism here, so I just wanted to ask you if you’d be able to restore the Ark: Survival Evolved article to its original version. I checked and noticed an IP Address had blanked 3 sections of the article. I restored the two most recent edits, but not the 3rd, as that has to be done manually. I alerted AdrianGamer to this on his talk page as well, but I figured I may as well let you know, because I know you also would be willing to help. Here’s the history for the article for additional details: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ark:_Survival_Evolved&action=history. Thank you.Dohvahkiin (talk) 13:01, 19 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind, someone already fixed it.Dohvahkiin (talk) 13:31, 19 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I had reverted your edit without fully appreciating its nature. I have now made the correction - my humble apologies as you were right. William Harris • (talk) • 11:27, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your message of understanding. At the time I was so busy fighting vandals that I did not think about your edit properly. However, my mind would not let it go because you appear to be a good and competent editor. So I went back and double-checked. Happy editing :-) William Harris • (talk) • 11:44, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Watch Dogs 2, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Season pass (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

April 2018

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Dynasty Warriors 9. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
To avoid edit wars, you should immediately start leaving messages on article talk pages or user talk pages once it is apparent you are in a disagreement with someone. Carefully and civilly explaining Wikipedia's guidelines, such as MOS:VG, in a talk page message is oftentimes far more effective than communicating strictly through edit summaries.
